The Tweenlands

Gwen was bored with catching butterflies. All her friends collected butterflies. They spent their sun drenched summers days between the small ponds in the Buddlia valley, bathed in the intoxicating perfume of the flowers, armed with fishing nets to trap the butterflies, floodlit by the glistening reflections from the ponds.

But Gwen had done that last year and she wanted to do something different.

Sorry, no java browser She decided to catch fairies instead. By day Gwen caught butterflies like her friends, but as dusk fell, and the dew settled on the woodland carpet of moss and flowers, highlighting the webs with jewel droplets, Gwen would sneak out through her bedroom window, into the world where twilight mingles with the moon shadows so you can't quite be sure whether what you see are dragons or not. Out to catch something more exciting than butterflies - fairies, pixies and most fun of all goblins!
Alas, like most people who try this, Gwen exists no more, but if you wish to view or purchase any of Gwen's collection, Click Here
